10 years gone

My mother died on this day in 2000.

We knew what she believed

She knew that her father loved her.


And, of course, we always knew what finally we needed to know.

Wow. Ten years. I never met your mother (I'd have liked to; I think she must have been quite a lady), but I remember going to her funeral; it was really quite lovely.
