WOCN15 CWHX 101908 Special weather statement for Prince Edward Island issued by Environment Canada at 4:08 PM ADT Friday 10 April 2009. 

A developing low pressure system over the central United States will track northeastward to lie southeast of Cape Cod Massachusetts Saturday evening. The low will track south of Nova Scotia on Sunday. Snow or rain is forecast to begin Saturday night. Precipitation is forecast to be mainly snow overnight possibly giving significant accumulation over Queens and Kings counties by Sunday morning. Lesser amounts are forecast for Prince county. Due to the uncertainty in the track of the low there is uncertainty in the amount of snow Prince Edward Island may receive. The public is advised to monitor future forecasts as warnings may be required. END/..
