Fall down seven times, get up eight

I'm wary of citing expressions in languages that I do not know. That said, if I was Japanese, I'd be looking for some sort of comfort and hope.

According to Wikipedia, 七転び八起き means stumbling seven times, but getting up eight. As in, keep on keepin' on.
