There, I fixed it.

The newswires are abuzz with a recall notice for a crib.  The drop-side, the side that, um, drops down so that you can lift baby in and out of the crib more easily, can fall out of position, leaving a gap into which the child can fall. Four children have died as the result of this defect.

• In this crib that's been sold with this defect since 1993.
• Among the problems with the crib are that some people installed drop-side upside-down.
  Therefore, the manufacturer is offering a repair kit that you can install to correct the problem that resulted from the drop-side being installed upside down.
