The Postal Service is in trouble with revenues in free-fall. They are talking about eliminating Saturday deliveries and have identified nearly 700 office locations as candidates for closure. (Total USPS volume of mail has dropped by 2.5% since 2000, the year that my mother died.)
It's also not helping that the USPS can't even locate the one blue pickup box in the center of town.
To their defense, they used Microsoft's Bing to locate the address. You still need to go to Google Maps to find the right location.
