Reminder: Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend

A few years ago, in a misguided attempt to save energy, Congress fixed daylight savings time, in much the same way that Marley is fixed. As a result, computers and similar gadgetry had to have special patches installed to handle the new rules. The ripples continue even a couple of years later.

So, if you're in most of the U.S., don't forget to turn your clocks ahead an hour at 2 A.M. on Sunday.
And change your

• Baking soda.
• Smoke detector batteries
• Windshield wiper blades
