This morning's Telegram front page has one local story out of four. I can understand that these are hard times for the T&G, indeed for all newspapers, so a slender, 24-page edition isn't surprising. Nevertheless, when there are important local stories, such as 3 city councilors pledge to vote for lowest tax rate, why bury them in favor of a wire service piece on DARE, the Dictionary of American Regional English?
