Tough time require tough eats
- From Time, by way of Andrew Sullivan, we learn that the Brits are buying and, we presume, consuming "more tongues, brains, chitterlings (intestines) and trotters (feet)."
- Of course, we must forget the perennial champion of recycled animal parts: Haggis - Frugal Food for a Recession
- Vegetarians, meanwhile, have to resort to fighting over tomatoes at Spain's tomato festival.

- Aussies are being asked to eat more camel, not so much because it's cheap eats, but because there are too many wild camels in the outback.
- Meanwhile, back in the good old U. S. of A., it's Spam for us.
- Except that some folks want to bring their own stuff to this country. This link, unlike the others, is not for the squeamish because we don't like thinking about eating animals that might be cute.
